School discos

This may sound obvious, but every event is different, with different guests. It is more than just having the right music, it is about reading the audience and understanding what is needed, and when. I would say this is my strength.

Again, every event and venue is different, and it is important that the disco lighting provides a great experience for your guests. I have a large range of the latest lights and special effects, and from experience I know how to use them... it is about using lights to match the music and tempo of the event.

The lights and effects I use are programmed to work together and are the same as you will find in many night clubs. Many DJs skimp on lighting, relying on one or two basic flashing lights...the investment I have made in quality lighting makes for an impressive experience, and one you and your guests will remember.

I have a fantastic set of very high quality speakers and amp. The sound quality is superb, and really sets me apart from many other discos. Not all speakers are the same, and many DJs do not invest enough in this key asset.

Getting the volume right is important so that everybody has a good time, not just those on the dance floor. I understand that you are not at a nightclub, that you don't want to be deafened but that those dancing do want to enjoy themselves. You don't need to worry, because I am able to judge this correctly and don't get complaints!

It is important that the children/teenages at your disco hear the music they most enjoy. Not all DJs will offer requests, particularly for childrens' events, but it is still important that the children feel a part of the event.

Children and teenages alike want decent music to dance to, and don't generally want to listen to a DJ who likes the sound of his own voice, and I understand this. If you require any announcements to be made, I am happy to oblige, or you are free to use my wireless mics.
