Hi, I'm Matt, and I would like to tell you a little about myself.

I have many years experience DJing and providing entertainment. I first became involved in discos when I was 14 (too many years ago to mention!), when I used to assist a local mobile disco at the weekends. After a few years learning about the business I set up on my own and I have never looked back - over the last 10 years I have built up my own successful mobile DJ business.

These days the majority of my work comes through referrals, word of mouth and repeat bookings, although I can still be found in the Yellow pages and on a number of on-line directories. I have many repeat customers and several venues where I am recommended.

My speciality is providing the music for wedding receptions, birthday and anniversary parties. I understand how important it is to provide a fantastic experience for you and your guests.

I keep fully up-to-date with current trends in music, and I have a massive collection of music, old and new. Having the music is only one element to a successful event, and my natural skill is understanding the audience as the evening progresses to make sure everybody has a good time. My measure of success is getting everyone up dancing through both the music I play and the light show I put on... I am pleased to say I rarely fail.

You will find many mobile discos and DJs on the web and in the phone book. Many of my competitors are larger outfits, but I believe many of them lack the personal touch, with some relying on a string of casual DJs they call in as needed (I was one such DJ when I started out in fact...)

Many DJs are similarly working on their own and providing a quality service, but there are some who have not made the investment in equipment and music catalogue, and sadly this is usually evident on the night. I am proud of the service and performance I provide.

In addition to DJing, my 'day job' is as a childrens' social worker, employed full-time by the Education Department of Wandsworth Borough Council. I am therefore fully vetted to work with children and have current CRB/police clearance and references, which I can provide upon request.

I also have many years experience providing entertainment at children’s discos and parties and have a fantastic rapport with kids.
